At Forever Families, we believe our mission is more than just finding a place for children to live. We're all about building warm, enduring connections within the foster and adoptive community. Think of us as taking a wholehearted approach, where the happiness and growth of the kids we care for are just as important as supporting the incredible families who welcome them into their lives.
We get it—navigating the world of foster care and adoption isn't always easy. It's a journey filled with its own unique highs and lows. That's exactly why we promise to be there for our families, guiding and supporting them every step of the way.
Our support doesn't stop at just being there. We offer a wealth of resources like educational programs, emotional support, and community connections to make sure families have everything they need to embrace the beautiful moments and tackle the tough ones. We're always striving to be better, to expand our reach and enhance our services, because we dream of a day when every child in Texas can grow up in a home filled with love and stability.
To provide underprivileged children who have been abused, neglected or exploited with a safe, nurturing environment; To provide services to children and adults with Intellectual Disabilities.
Forever Families vision is to educate and involve communities to invest in our future through foster care or adoption.
Forever Families is a non-profit organization that provides adoptive and foster placements for children within Texas. With over 30 years of experience in foster care and adoption, we are well qualified to meet the needs of our foster and adoptive families. We currently have the capacity to serve families in the Texas area.
Our parents are given more than 27 hours of pre-certification training, frequent consultations with social workers, 24-hour telephone support, respite child care, a monthly reimbursement for care of the child, more than 12 hours of annual training, and referrals for additional support services.
We have a firm belief that our parents are experts at parenting and should always be treated with the utmost respect. Forever Families is here to support not only the child but also the adoptive or foster family, and biological family throughout the placement.

Dr. Sophia Davis-Fields, LCPAA is a well-rounded, well-educated, energetic, aggressive, spiritual, and a creative leader who possess a multitude of talent and experience. She is a young visionary whose sight is not hindered by statistics, predictions, headlines, myths or non-believers.
She is a retired therapeutic foster/adoptive parent dedicated to providing services to children in Children Protective Services. She has made a conscious decision to pay homage to our children by matching children with families that last forever. Sophia began as a therapeutic foster parent personally caring for over 100 children for 10 years.
In addition, she and her husband, Lonnie, adopted six children through Children Protective Services.
The journey of fostering and adoption can be filled with joy, challenges, and everything in between.
